Whao! It has been over four weeks I have posted on this blog. The absence was unintentional, I hereby apologize. I will like to say something on the Path To success.
When I was in Teachers' College between 1982 and 1985, there was this novel we were asked to read. The Title is ' THE NARROW PATH'. It centered on a young child that thought his father's strong disciplining method was cruelty until he grew up to realize his father was teaching him the lessons of his life. Unfortunately, he lost his father and found himself journeying the journey of life alone with divers of challenges.
The path to success is usually narrow. I am talking of genuine and enduring success. Life is full of obstacles. However, it is awash with plenty of mysteries and miracles.
A student that will achieve success must learn how to read extensively by burning night candles as the saying goes. An entrepreneur, who is trying to build a business empire must strife hard in other to achieve life ambition.
Any worthwhile venture that will lead to success must have taken its share of sweat. It is the way of life. Even to bring out LIFE, there must be LABOUR. Ask the women that delivered a new born baby naturally what they went through during the period of labour. However, everybody is happy to celebrate the arrival of a new child into the world.
The path to success my friend, is full of challenges. You must have strong determination, will, perseverance, good character traits, enthusiasm, positive mental attitude among others. Take care. Take Charge. Your path to success may be tough, be rest assured that joy and happiness are the dividends.

Every May 27th is usually regarded as Children Day. It is a special day separated to celebrate the World children. The Bible regards children as heritage of the Lord. It is good to celebrate our children because they are our tomorrow.

Sometime in September 2003, I received a text message from one of my spiritual elders, my evangelical drama lecturer, a drama evangelist of great repute, and the president of Mount Zion Faith Ministries International- Evangelist Mike Bamiloye whom we usually call 'Bro Mike'. The text message was about the award being given to the ministry as a result of great works God is doing through Drama Evangelisim.
As usual, I decided to put the memory of the award in my own poetic format titled: Award of Excellence.

Cherish the Rewards
Spread the Award
And move forward
towards the greatest award
planned, cherished and dedicated
By the master strategist
Master award winner
Master of the greatest awards;
The Lord that purchased
the greatest award of salvation,
through his precious blood.
The world will know more,
The impact of Drama Evangelism
Through this earthly little awards,
as a harbinger of greater awards,
Meant for the willing souls
that are Paradise focussed
Thus depleting the ranks and files
of those Evil one plans to send to hell.
More awards will come
From the East to the West,
From the South to the North
Even from the minutest Island
of the world,
To the most advanced cities of the Earth.
The greatest award however,
Is up there being compiled
By the Lamb and the purchaser of our souls
From the tricks and plans of the devil.

STRENGTH OF CHARACTER; NOT COLOUR OF THE SKIN
How time flies? I was looking for a book i misplaced recently and I came across an old exercise book I misplaced about two and half years ago. Not that I really lost it. but I really was not looking for it per-se.
I quickly noticed the exercise book because i knew it habours one of my poetic expressions. It was a news bulletin on our national network television on the then impending American general elections. That was 2nd November, 2008. Americans were about to choose a new leader. The uniqueness of the two major candidates made the impending presidential election a potential historical watershed in the history of elections in America.
After watching the news review by my local network television, I grabbed this available notebook and put down some lines: That was 2nd November, 2008. It has to do with the impending American election which was few days to be conducted as at that time.
Strength Of Character; Not Colour Of The Skin.
Not Long Time Ago,
Alone in my own abode
News of American coming elections
Flashed on my local Television.
America! That great country!
Respected and feared
Among the multitudinous countries of the world
Is planning to choose another leader.
One great country
Two great parties,
One united ambition,
Two great sons of America.
From the couldrum of one great paliament
Came up the strengths of two great men
Hoping to occupy only American White House
For an initial period of about 35000 Hours.
The big marketing strategy begun
Marketing of candidates
In front of the electorates,
Truely, Americans are interesting.
The calibers of the two candidates
And their able lietenants
Are historic, and passionate,
Educating, Worthy, and appreciating.
One is older, experienced and pragmatic,
He had once suffered for what America stands for.
The other one younger, fresh and focussed,
Breathing the breath of future change.
One is white, Americans love his whitishness
One is black, Americans love his colour
Because they know that it is not the colour that matters,
It is the strength of character.
Whoever wins this pacy race
Will have a beautiful speech
Which one phrase will say
'God Bless America'
As I salute the great Americans
From the jungles of African continent,
I hereby also say.....
God Bless Africa.
When you get to your throne
Forget not the Jungle of Africa
So that we can develop our character
Not crying on the colour of our skin.
In our character lies our strength
Not the colour of our skin.
God Bless America
God Bless Afro-Americans,
