OUR PATHS

All Seeing Lord
Lead us on our ways
Everlasting God
Teach us on your ways.

A path ordained by God
May look uncertain at first
A focus on the way of the Lord
Will make the will of God to manifest.

Everlasting Father,
All we need is to cater
for your wills and deeds
So that we hope always in thee.

Our Paths
Our future,
Your Path
Our victory.

STRENGTH OF CHARACTER; NOT COLOUR OF THE SKIN

How time flies? I was looking for a book i misplaced recently and I came across an old exercise book I misplaced about two and half years ago. Not that I really lost it. but I really was not looking for it per-se.

I quickly noticed the exercise book because i knew it habours one of my poetic expressions. It was a news bulletin on our national network television on the then impending American general elections. That was 2nd November, 2008. Americans were about to choose a new leader. The uniqueness of the two major candidates made the impending presidential election a potential historical watershed in the history of elections in America.

After watching the news review by my local network television, I grabbed this available notebook and put down some lines: That was 2nd November, 2008. It has to do with the impending American election which was few days to be conducted as at that time.

Strength Of Character; Not Colour Of The Skin.

Not Long Time Ago,
Alone in my own abode
News of American coming elections
Flashed on my local Television.

America! That great country!
Respected and feared
Among the multitudinous countries of the world
Is planning to choose another leader.

One great country
Two great parties,
One united ambition,
Two great sons of America.

From the couldrum of one great paliament
Came up the strengths of two great men
Hoping to occupy only American White House
For an initial period of about 35000 Hours.

The big marketing strategy begun
Marketing of candidates
In front of the electorates,
Truely, Americans are interesting.

The calibers of the two candidates
And their able lietenants
Are historic, and passionate,
Educating, Worthy, and appreciating.

One is older, experienced and pragmatic,
He had once suffered for what America stands for.
The other one younger, fresh and focussed,
Breathing the breath of future change.

One is white, Americans love his whitishness
One is black, Americans love his colour
Because they know that it is not the colour that matters,
It is the strength of character.

Whoever wins this pacy race
Will have a beautiful speech
Which one phrase will say
'God Bless America'

As I salute the great Americans
From the jungles of African continent,
I hereby also say.....
God Bless Africa.

When you get to your throne
Forget not the Jungle of Africa
So that we can develop our character
Not crying on the colour of our skin.

In our character lies our strength
Not the colour of our skin.
God Bless America
God Bless Afro-Americans,
God Bless Africa.

To The Japanese Children- This War Between Nature And Science Shall Be Over.

My heart today goes to the young minds of the Japanese kids, witnessing a Tsunami and Earthquake  at the same time is a double jeopardy for young hearts. It raises so many questions about their life, the future, their world and it could be confusing and scary.

I have a message of hope hence these lines is for the traumatized souls of Japanese citizens. It shall be well.

TO THE JAPANESE CHILDREN-WEEP NO MORE.

Weep no more
Dear Japanese kids
It is the way of life
To bring us to the consciousness
Of other realities of life.

You may wonder aloud
Or even cry aloud
of departed friends and families
Carried away by angry waters
Relax- it shall be well.

You may be confused and confounded
In your young minds
Of the cause of these catastrophes
That befell your great kingdom;
It only made us realize our vulnerability as human beings.

You may be undiscerning
Of the cause of the fight
Between Nature and Science
It shall be well indeed,
I know it is going to be well.

Take heart! For your leaders are ever ready,
They survived Hiroshima catastrophes
of past years and built a great nation
Of great achievements and popularity,
Definitely, Japan shall bounce back for good.

Let the world know this
That Japan shall bounce back
To the great nation it is known for
Therefore dear Japanese children
Relax and take heart- it shall be well.

No matter the cause of the war
Between Nature and Science,
That caused the fears over nuclear plants
And the endless traffic of people at various Airports
Finding an exit route outside Japan,

Man by nature is an overcomer,
Japan will surely overcome the rumbles
Dear Japanese kids-just remember
It is going to be well
It shall be well again.

GREAT DECISION

A great decision is to be made
It has to be made, no way to unmake
Yet the fear of the unknown
makes the decision a fear that is known.

You cannot run away from this decision
Or else it will run down your emotions
It may even run riot your emancipations,
And make you great slave of assumptions.

Uncountable decisions we need to make
In a lifetime of ours today,
To do this or not to do it
To take a path or not to take it.

To act now or to delay
To position now or to reposition later
To endure for now or not
Real decision with daring consequencies.

We need to cross that bridge
Of making a decision at each
passing minutes of our life,
A great decision must be made.

To make a worthwhile decision,
To ensure that great decision is made
Have you put a thought on it,
Of inviting the all-seeing power to guide your decision?
